Should I consult my healthcare provider before using CEDAR X®?
Absolutely, cedar allergies can become serious. Your physician should always be consulted when taking an over-the-counter product.
How does it work?
During Cedar allergy season, many individuals have a physical reaction to the especially toxic nature of Juniper/Cedar pollen. When pollen counts become high, this reaction can become even more pronounced resulting in coughing, sneezing, congestion, runny nose, itchy eyes and throat. In some cases fever, upper respiratory or cold-like symptoms may develop. CEDAR X® contains highly diluted botanical ingredients in the form of essential oils. Follow directions on packaging for optimum results.
What is the difference between CEDAR X® and CEDAR X FORMULA®?
CEDAR X® is a topical product that is applied to the skin. Many customers like the convenient size of the smaller bottle as it is easy to carry in your pocket and only takes a few seconds to apply.
CEDAR X FORMULA® is available in a 1 or 2 oz dropper bottle and is a tasteless homeopathic* formula that can be taken directly by mouth or added to a small amount of water. This product is suitable for most, but especially when used as directed for children, pets, those taking allergy shots, nursing mothers, the elderly, for children under 40 lbs and during pregnancy with your physician's approval.
*Homeopathy is the use of highly dissolved natural substances that are carefully chosen and specially prepared to stimulate the healing process by the principle of "like cures like."
Is homeopathy safe?
According to Consumer Healthcare Products Association, homeopathic medicines are considered safe for use in adults as well as children. Very few side effects have been reported in association with homeopathic products. Homeopathic medicines can also be safely used with Over the Counter (OTC) and prescription medicines, as well as dietary supplements. In the United States, OTC homeopathic medicines are indicated for self-limiting, self-diagnosable conditions and must comply with all FDA regulations for OTC medicines.
*Official homeopathic drugs are those that been monographed and accepted for inclusion in the HPUS (Homeopathic Pharmacopeia of the United States.) The active ingredients in CEDAR X FORMULA® are exclusively HPUS.

How much should I use and how often?
Please follow the label instructions. For best results, if you are using the topical version of CEDAR X®, use one drop only per application and reapply once every four hours. *Severe cases may require 2-3 days of consecutive use every 4 hours. If symptoms worsen, reevaluate how much you are using. Do NOT use more than one drop per application.
If you are using CEDAR X FORMULA® (homeopathic), follow product directions. Adults and children over 40 lbs use 6-10 drops preferably in water 1-3 X per day as needed. Children under 40 lbs use 4 drops in water 1-3 X per day as needed.
Do I need to have allergy testing to purchase CEDAR X®?
Allergy testing can be very informative but is not necessary to use CEDAR X®, though your physician should confirm your symptoms are due to allergies. A low dose of CEDAR X FORMULA® (homeopathic) or 3-5 drops are recommended for those who have been under the care of a physician for allergy shots within the past 6 months.
Do I need to use CEDAR X® prior to Cedar allergy season?
No, it is not necessary to use CEDAR X® prior to Cedar allergy season. Most customers use CEDAR X® as needed or at the onset of cedar symptoms.
I am taking over the counter medications, could I still use CEDAR X®?
When used as directed, CEDAR X® is safe while taking other allergy medications. For best results, we recommend that individuals using any CEDAR X® product abstain from taking any other products containing juniper or cedar, including other homeopathics.
Do pets have pollen allergies?
Pets may exhibit allergy symptoms by incessantly itching, scratching and biting themselves. Large animals over 40 lbs may use the adult version of CEDAR X® (one drop only every 4 hours as needed on the tips of the pet's ears.) For pets under 40 lbs CEDAR X FORMULA® (tasteless homeopathic version) is recommended and is available at the Integrative Healing Institute®, selected kennels and veterinary clinics, or by purchasing through our website. Cats should not use the topical version of CEDAR X® or any topically applied essential oils. Their organs are unable to metabolize essential oils.
What is your refund policy?
Integrative Healing Institute® has been proudly selling CEDAR X® since 2002. When purchased through our website, we offer a full refund for products returned with receipt within 30 days. Individual retailer's refund policy may vary. Use products as directed on the label for best results.
